FIELD: mechanic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the technique of disperse materials drying and can be used in microbiological, food and chemical and other industries. Dryer with counter swirling flow includes vertical chamber with coolant and material supply system, discharge hopper for dried-out disperse material, original wet stock supply system located at primary axial injection of coolant and secondary tangential injection of coolant. The primary and secondary flows of coolant are pre-heated to the required temperature by heaters installed in main pipeline. Original wet stock supply system is provided with non-adjustable gravity feeder or adjustable feeder gates. Passage section of adjustable feeder gates is adjusted depending on original material characteristics by control signal sent to servo drive. Servo drive is connected to gates from drying control unit comprised of original parameters analyser. Original material can be supplied to vertical chamber with primary or secondary or both coolant flows simultaneously.
EFFECT: improvement of drying efficiency.
