FIELD: mechanic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the technique of solutions drying, mainly sorbite, and can be used in microbiological, food, chemical and other industries. Plant for solutions drying in pseudoliquid layer, mainly sorbite, includes drying chamber with gas-distributing lattice and discharge outlet, injectors located at the same distance from each other above lattice and rotary arm stirrer. Injectors are placed along evolvent of circle with diameter 0.1...0.14 of chamber diameter to improve operational reliability and dying quality. End of evolvent is situated along radius being away from discharge outlet axis by 10...20° along stirrer movement. According to invention, stirrer is made of at least four blades. Two of blades are bent to the angle 10...15° with regard to gas-distributing lattice plane allowing for intensifying material stirring in pseudoliquefied layer. In addition, each blade is bent to angle 10° around its axis relative to the previous blade axis.
EFFECT: improvement of operational reliability and drying quality.
