FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for control of technical state of gear wheels and can be used for diagnostics of reduction systems operating state during their operation. Method for contact-free control of reduction systems operating state during their operation consists in that the contact-free reversible sensor is fixed, on the disc or gear wheel shaft an exciter is set up. Electric pulses are recorded, obtained by reacting of return mark exciter with the reversible sensor. Time intervals between reversible pulses are measured and information on gear wheel rotation period is obtained. On the fixed part of the reduction housing the contact-free (peripheral) sensor made in the form of circular waveguide-waveguide dielectric-filled sensor, is fixed. Electromagnetic radiation flux with a wave length that is several times smaller than dimensions of the controlled tooth, is excited and formed in the waveguide sensor. Then the generated radiation flow is directed perpendicular to axis of the rotating gear wheel to the controlled clutches. Radiation flux reflected from them is received. Data signals are detected. Amplitude and duration of the obtained information signals are measured. Ratio of the measured information signals duration to the period of the gear wheel rotation is calculated, and their relative time assessment is obtained. Found current values of amplitudes are compared with relative values of information signals duration with appropriate bearing values obtained at the beginning of the gear wheel operation, and wear of gear wheel is judged the by comparison results. Device comprises peripheral contact-free sensor, square-pulse generators, clock pulse generator, comparator circuit, control unit, reversible contact-free sensor, reversible mark exciter, circular waveguide filled with dielectric, generator of microwave range electric oscillations, circulator, an amplitude detector, microcontroller, containing a clock pulse generator, ADC, clock pulse counters, comparator circuits and PC.

EFFECT: technical result consists in broader functional capabilities.
