FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: circle with a mark and a point object moving round a circle at preset acceleration are presented on a video monitor. At the moment of estimated positional conjunction of the moving point object, the person being tested presses "Stop" button to stop the point object moving round a circle. A mismatch error of the point object and the mark that is delay error time with a positive sign and an advance error time with a negative sign is calculated, and in preset time, circular motion of the point object at initial speed and preset acceleration. The described procedure is performed for preset times, thereafter moving object response time is calculated as an arithmetical mean by formula: 
where ti is i-th delay error time with a positive sign or advance error time with a negative sign, ms; n -is a number of tests.
EFFECT: technique allows estimating moving object response time.
