FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: purification method involves treatment of sewage water using a coagulant-aluminium oxychloride with subsequent separation of the floatation phases. The coagulant dose is chosen depending on the ratio of mass concentration of fats and proteins, lying in the range 0.17<Kf<13.2 from formula where D is the CAO dose, E is the "ХПК" cleaning effect, Kf - is the ratio of the mass concentration of fats and proteins. Effluent water with ratio of fats and proteins less than 1 is mixed in a balancing reservoir with effluents, in which the ratio of fats and protein is more than 5, before treatment by a coagulant.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of purification from organic pollutants through choosing the dose of the coagulant depending on the ratio of fats and proteins in the effluent water.
