FIELD: physics; measurements.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to measurement of acceleration using a coriolis gyroscope as a sensor of angular velocity. The corilis gyroscope consists of primary and secondary resonators (701, 702), each of which is made in the form of a coupled system, consisting of primary and secondary linear oscillators (31 32, 41 42). The primary resonator (701) together with the secondary resonator (702) is capable of anti-phase oscillations relative each other along the common axis of oscillations (72). The advantage of such a system is that, the angular velocity and acceleration can be measured at the same time. In that case, the system is not sensitive to effects of noise, for example, internal or external vibrations.
EFFECT: possibility of simultaneous measurement of angular velocity and acceleration using a coriolis gyroscope.
