FIELD: physics; measurements.
SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to thermometry, and more specifically to thermal indication, obtained from powder mixtures, which are meant for measuring temperature in furnaces or in local heating of an object before welding. The technical outcome of the invention is the increased accuracy of determining temperature during thermal treatment or welding in field conditions in the process of heating an object in the temperature in the range between 270...290°C. This outcome is provided for due to that, the thermal indication compound, which contains sulphur and calcium components, which signal the offset of the given temperature interval, the sulphur and calcium compounds are in form of calcium and sulphur permanganates, with the following percentage mass components: 87-93 calcium permanganate, 7-13 sulphur permanganate.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of determining temperature during thermal processing or welding under field conditions.
