FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: obtaining of radar image (RI) of the object is based on the processing method by means of Fourier transformation of complex envelopes of signals reflected from the object, which are obtained at multiple-frequency pulse sounding of rotating object, by using high-frequency measurements of frequencies, angles of observation and coordinates of synthesising centre on the object. Method is implemented owing to determining the size of sector of synthesising angles dependent on the specified frequency band, as well as limits and pitch of change of values of used non-linear coordinates (spatial frequencies), in the area of which the measured values of complex envelopes reflected from signal object are arranged.
EFFECT: enlarging the range as per value of effective scattering cross-section of pointed out scattering centres of the object, and providing evaluation accuracy of their coordinates and values of effective scattering cross-section in compliance with resolution capability of radar image, which is determined by the specified frequency band of sounding signal.
