FIELD: radar; measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar measurement equipment and can be used, in particular, in radar measuring systems (stands) with multifrequency pulse sensing measuring devices, performing construction of two-dimensional radar images (RI) of analyzed objects using inverse synthesis of antenna aperture. Said result is achieved by specifying the spatial frequency determining region dimensions, introduction of verification of the condition of the spatial frequency samples belonging to the area of determining the measured signal, reception of the reflected signal into two spaced apart antennas and formation of two two-dimensional RI, estimating a third coordinate (relative height) of elements of the obtained images based on known values of the angles of the place of observation of the object by both receiving antennae and obtained phase incursions of elements of two formed two-dimensional object RI.

EFFECT: improved resolution of two-dimensional RI and estimation of third coordinate of its elements.
