FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: electrostatic cleaner consists of diffuser and constrictor mounted on inlet and outlet respectively, casing collecting electrodes and ionizer wires with suspension system, diffuser-mounted gas-distributing units, agitating mechanism, power supply and buffer units. Diffuser is furnished with triangular prism shaped elements with face inclined 20 - 30° relative to plane, elements spacing is equal to 0.5-1.0 of triangular prism height. Elements are vertically or horizontally mounted relative to plane, gap between them and lower face of electrostatic cleaner is not less than 0.5 of triangular prism height. Electrostatic cleaner is provided with heat insulation mounted within suspension system of ioniser wires directly inside of electrostatic cleaner.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of gas dusting by filtration, improved reliability and performance of electrostatic cleaner.
