FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical cleaning of gases from dust and can be used in heat engineering, chemical industry, metallurgy and production of construction materials. Electric filter casing accommodating precipitation electrodes and corona-forming electrodes arranged along gas flow over electric fields with suspension systems, shaking mechanisms, high-voltage power supplies connected, on one side via isolators, with shaking mechanisms and, on the other side, via base insulators arranged on the casing crossbars, with corona-forming electrodes and hoppers. Base insulators of adjacent electric fields are arranged in casing crossbar in staggered manner. Note here that distance between upper current conducting parts of insulators makes 1.0-1.2 of the minimum distance between precipitation and corona-forming electrodes, while distance between suspension systems of adjacent grouped corona-forming electrodes makes 1.5-2.0 of said minimum distance. Walls of all crossbars are furnished with isolating screen.

EFFECT: higher degree of cleaning and filter efficiency.
