FIELD: filtering engineering.

SUBSTANCE: vertical electric filter comprises housing, wires of corona electrodes, pipes of piping settling electrodes, gas distributing unit, diverging and converging pipes for supplying and discharging gases to be cleaned, and device for discharging the trapped material. The diameter of the pipes of settling electrodes are 200-300 mm, and their edges are rounded with a radius of 15-40 mm. The corona electrode is made of a wire of a diameter of 0.5-3 mm. At the site where the settling electrode passes through the edges of pipes it is provided with metallic tubes whose inner diameter ranges from 5 to 10 mm. One of the ends of the tubes enters the pipes of settling electrodes, and the other end of the tubes projects out of the pipe edges. The edges are rounded.

EFFECT: improved quality of cleaning.
