FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method to obtain a sintered part out of iron based powdered material, containing copper, with a regulated change of dimensions at sintering includes preparation of the first powder (A), containing iron based powder (1) and copper (2) in an elementary form or a copper, diffuse tied with iron based powder (3). The second powder (B) contains powder (1) and preliminary alloyed iron-copper powder (4). Contents of copper in powder (B) are set equal to contents of copper in powder (A). To achieve it contents of copper in powder (A) or (B) are regulated. Contents of copper in powder (B) are determined either by choosing the ratio between powder (1) and powder (4) or by regulating copper contents in powder (4). Powders (A) and (B) are mixed in proportions providing a desired change in dimensions, then graphite and a lubricating substance are added to the mixture and, if necessary, a solid phase material and alloy elements are added. The obtained mixture is pressed and sintered.
EFFECT: method allows producing parts with a preset change of dimensions at sintering without change of chemical composition.
