FIELD: medicine; cardiology.

SUBSTANCE: patients are tested for concentration of C-reactive protein, and additionally for lymphocytic-thrombocyte rosette (test LTR). Inflammatory activity coefficient is calculated by formula: (LTR×Ln(CRP)), where LTR is relative content of lymphocytic-thrombocyte rosettes; Ln(CRP) is logarithm rate of C-reactive protein concentration. In case coefficient value is less than 47.9, inflammatory activity is not diagnosed, if coefficient value is 47.9-70.6, minimum inflammatory activity is diagnosed, and coefficient value higher 70.6 indicated evident inflammatory activity.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of inflammatory activity diagnostics associated with rheumatic heart disease and well-timed antibacterial and inflammatory therapy.
