DRAWING-IN BRUSH FOR VACUUM CLEANER Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC A47L9/04

Abstract RU 2328964 C1

FIELD: personal demand and household items.

SUBSTANCE: brush has a cleaning element for surface cleaning, a suction hole, a dust directing channel, which directs polluted air to the suction hole made on the lower surface of the drawing-in brush, and a turbine blower for cleaning element rotation activated by drawing-in force produced by motor. To decrease the gap between the drawing-in hole, a gripping part, preventing hard thin and long foreign bodies from coming into suction passage, is fixed next to it a in place corresponding to this hole. According to this variant, the brush has a body with a drawing-in hole, a channel directing polluted air to the drawing-in hole and a suction passage directing polluted air, which comes through the suction passage, to the dust collecting device. The suction passage of the body contains a turbine blower capable of rotating. The upper part of the body is covered with a lid to form a suction passage divided into several passages by partition made along suction passage inside thereof. The brush has a pair of supporting plates for pieces of cloth, which are capable of rotating and set on the lower surface of the body to provide connection and the possibility to remove the cloth on lower part of each of the supporting plates. The body has a centre to transfer force, produced by rotation of turbine blower, to the pair of supporting plates to rotate there of. Gripping part projects into dust directing channel in a way that it is turned to the drawing-in hole and fixed on the determined distance from it. The gripping part is turned to the drawing-in hole with its front surface, its square exceeding that of the drawing-in hole, to decrease the gap around it.

EFFECT: preventing from the income into suction passage of thin and long foreign bodies and, thus, preventing from the damage of the turbine blower fan.
