FIELD: separation.

SUBSTANCE: separator comprises vertical cylindrical housing, inlet branch pipe, vertical branch pipe, and drain branch pipe, deflector, trapping pocket, separating stack composed of vertical flat bent, separating plates that define slot passages, false bottom, and pocket-trap arranged in the top section of the separating stack. The separator is additionally provided with the horizontal baffle that is mounted above the separation stack and conical deflecting diverging pipes arranged over the horizontal baffle between the separating stack and outlet branch pipe coaxially to it. The deflecting diverging pipes are arranged one above the other to define partial overlapping and form ring spaces in the zone of overlapping. The drain pipe is mounted in the trapping pocket and connects the space downstream of the converging pipes above the horizontal baffle with the bottom section of the separator. According to the second version, the separator comprises vertical cylindrical housing, inlet, outlet horizontal, and drain branch pipes, deflector, trapping pocket, similar separation stack, false bottom, and pocket-trap arranged in the top section of the separating stack. The separator is additionally provided with horizontal baffle that is mounted above the separating stack, and thick-walled deflector that is made of axially aligned conical plates of different diameters arranges over the horizontal baffle, and ring hydraulic pocket. The drain pipe connects the hydraulic pocket with the bottom section of the separator.
