FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns production methods for modified bitumen astringents, mastics, sealing and insulating materials with improved performance for application in construction of roads, aerodromes, hydrotechnics etc. The method of obtaining bitumen astringent involves stirring oil bitumen while heating it together with 2.5-5.0 mass % of rubber-containing component in the form of a solution in an organic solvent. Solution of oil-insoluble rubber with rubber content up to 35 mass % is taken as rubber-containing component, and liquid products of carbon transformation, such as coal or lignite low-temperature carbonisation gum or lignite hydrogenation fraction, are used as organic solvent boiling at the temperature of 350°C.
EFFECT: obtaining homogenous astringents based on oil bitumen compositions and concentrated solutions of oil-insoluble rubbers in organic solvents.
