SUBSTANCE: artillery piece breeching lock driving mechanism contains an axle with cranks, a cam and a yoke accommodate in the sliding breech, an opening mechanism representing a spring-loaded cup with a hole in its bottom to receive the step-wise rod with a stop arranged thereon, a spring-loaded latch and the rod pressed stop. The rod tail, between the stop and the head, accommodates a stepwise bushing to engage, by its forward end face, with the stop at the rod tail, and, by the thick part rear end face, with the rod head end face, and, by the thick part front end face, with the opening spring. The stepwise bush thick part rear end face features a surface interacting with the pressed up stop. The front end face of the stop attached to the rod tail interacts with the cup bottom.

EFFECT: higher reliability and smaller sizes.
