ELECTRIC THERMOMETRY DIAGNOSTIC TECHNIQUE FOR TISSUE CHANGES ACCOMPANYING DIABETIC FOOT SYNDROME Russian patent published in 2012 - IPC A61B5/01

Abstract RU 2465814 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, and may be used for electric thermometry diagnostic technique of tissue changes accompanying diabetic foot syndrome. That is ensured by measuring skin surface temperature by a temperature sensor sequentially along anterior, lateral, posterior and medial surfaces in 27 point of right and left lower extremities. Degree I ischemia is diagnosed if observing temperature maintained within the norm in the place of ischemia. If the place of ischemia shows temperature higher by 0.5±0.12°C from the normal values with the unchanged proximal and distal values, degree IIa ischemia is diagnosed. If temperature in the proximal direction is lower by 0.8±0.5°C and higher by 0.7±0.14°C in the place of ischemia with the normal parameters in the distal direction, degree IIb ischemia is diagnosed. Temperature lower by 1.12±0.27°C or by 1.37±0.47°C and higher by 1.1±0.27°C or by 1.22±0.3°C in the place of ischemia and lower in the distal direction from the place of ischemia by 0.64±0.17°C or by 0.72±0.28°C enables diagnosing degree IIIa, IIIb ischemia respectively. Temperature in the proximal direction lower by 1.53±0.61°C or by 1.86±0.72°C, in the place of ischemia by 1.44±0.53°C or 1.57±0.52°C, in the distal direction from the place of ischemia by 0.89±0.38°C or 1.17±0.4°C provides diagnosing degrees IVa, IVb ischemia respectively.

EFFECT: method provides diagnosing the level of trophic changes with simplified, rapid and reliable results, safety of use that enables well-timed application of the adequate therapy.
