FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a scrubber containing a casing with a taper and cylinder parts and a slime header, a dusted gas intake branch pipe, a purified gas discharge branch pipe, a sprinkler incorporating external pipeline with lower and upper nozzles fitted into the casing. Here note that the scrubber diameter D-to-the intake branch pipe diameter D₀ ratio lies in an optimum range of magnitudes, i.e. D/D₀-2.2...2.5, while that of the scrubber height H to the inlet brunch pipe D₀ lies in the following range of values, i.e. H/D₀=4.8...5.7. The nozzles represent a centrifugal injector made up of a casing with an inlet, a cover, a sealing gasket arranged between the injector casing and the cover, a spring set between the said casing and a swirler representing a cylindrical barrel turned upside down and arranged with a circular clearance relative to the injector casing. The swirler is provided with, at least, two rows of throttling orifices, every row is furnished with, at least, two tangential throttling orifices spaced regularly along the swirler circular wall. The casing lower part accommodates a calibrated taper bore injector insert representing a taper washer, the said calibrated taper bore being aligned with the swirler cylindrical surface and a taper reverse to that of the aforesaid insert taper washer.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of dust separation due to higher water spraying.
