FIELD: blasting operations.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to incendiary compositions that can be used in small arms cartridges of incendiary and combined effect to ignite liquid hydrocarbon fuel. The invention proposes an incendiary composition comprising an aluminum-magnesium alloy powder, graphite, oxidiser, i.e. an iron oxide, copper oxide, and nickel oxides and a low-molecular fluoroplastic as a binder. The composition represents spherical granules, 30 to 40% of which feature a diameter less than 250 micron, and 20 to 30% have a diameter of 800 to 1000 micron.
EFFECT: longer combustion of the composition and formation of greater amount of large-size condensed combustion products.
