FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the ammunition of small arms, namely to cartridges with an armor-piercing incendiary bullet. Cartridge includes a sleeve with an ignition primer equipped with propellant powder charge and an armor-piercing incendiary bullet containing a shell, a core and a flask with an incendiary composition behind it, a shirt. Incendiary composition contains powders of titanium, magnesium, boron, fluoroplastic F-42, fluoroplastic F-2M with the following component ratio, mass%: titanium 50–75; magnesium 0–15; boron 24–32; fluoroplastic F-42 0.6–1.2; fluoroplastic 2M 0–4.5. Incendiary composition may be located in the cup behind the core and in the head part of the bullet shell.
EFFECT: technical result consists in lighting the cartridge with heavy fuel from one hit while penetrating the armored barrier.
