DEVICE FOR TREATMENT OF LIQUID HYDROCARBON FUEL (VERSIONS) Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC F02M27/04

Abstract RU 2330984 C1

FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to engine production, particularly, to the devices intended for treatment of liquid hydrocarbon fuel and can be used in various production processes. Invention allows creating a new design of the said device allowing an increase in fuel treatment quality and wider applications. The said device incorporates a current-conducting casing with an inner space, a current-conducting rod to be connected to one of the power supply terminals and arranged inside the said inner space to a fuel treatment chamber in the gap between the rod and the casing, a one-wire winding enveloping the rod, and a dielectric bushing. The said bushing is attached on to the end face of the casing having a cylindrical inner space. The bushing through bore accommodates the rod tail with the working surface furnished with a lengthwise central bore and a cone- or truncated cone-like outer surface. The rod greater diameter end is arranged nearby the chamber fuel inlet. The winding is arranged all along the rod length and has an electrical connection with the rod outer working surface closer to the chamber fuel outlet. The casing side outer surface accommodates inlet and outlet branch pipes. The casing end face opposite to that with the attached dielectric bushing is plugged. In compliance with the second version, the outlet branch is arranged on the casing end face opposite to that with the attached dielectric bushing.

EFFECT: higher fuel treatment quality, wider application range.
