FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: casting pipe is equipped with at least one output hole, connected to the channel. At least one protrusion is made at lower or upper edge of the hole; this protrusion creates at least two grooves. The grooves create streams of dip, rotated in opposite direction, which, in turn, results in stable and homogeneous stream, flowing from the pipe.
EFFECT: stream asymmetry reduction; blocking the pripe with aluminium oxide, and dip vorticity reduction in crystalliser.
