FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy and can be used in the casting of non-ferrous metals. The device for distributing molten metal during casting contains a reservoir made of refractory material, having a bottom (1) with a flow divider (7) and walls (3, 4). An inlet (2) and at least two outlets (6) are made at the base of the tank. The outlet (6) is made in the form of a through gap between the side walls (3) and one of the end walls (4). The side walls (3) are made convex, each of which contains at least one outer protrusion (5).
EFFECT: improving the quality of flat ingots by reducing the turbulence of molten metal flows to create a laminar outflow of metal during the casting process.
