FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: acoustic system includes a case with a dynamic at its front panel and a vibration damping element placed inside. The vibration damping element is a triangular prism capable of redistribution of sound wave energy to the case corners where the rear and side panels are joined. One of the side facets of the prism is rigidly fixed to the rear panel of the case.
EFFECT: reduced vibration of the rear panel of the case; reduced resonance effect and streamlined manufacturing technology.
