FIELD: medicine; dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of orthodontic microimplant installation involves radiography, selection of point, direction and depth according to radiography results, installation of conductor with horizontal linkage element and plug tube at one of its ends, and installation of orthodontic microimplant via the plug tube. Radiography is performed by computer tomography. The conductor is assembled in oral cavity of patient with preliminary making of metric bar of disposable material with marks drawn according to computer tomography marks, horizontal bar of width defined by computer tomography data, and a plug. Then the bars and plug are mounted in the patient's oral cavity, where metric bar is installed close to the tooth adjacent to the planned orthodontic microimplant installation spot and fixed in vertical position by thinly fluid composite light polymerisation material, one end of the horizontal bar is fixed in the plug to position the plug at the orthodontic microimplant installation spot by attaching free end of the horizontal bar to the vertical metric bar by thinly fluid composite light polymerisation material at the spot and in the direction defined by computer tomography, and the plug is tilted in the direction defined by computer tomography. All conductor parts are connected and fixated by transparent quick-hardening thick-flowing silicon mass, and orthodontic microimplant is installed through the plug, the conductor removed after completion of installation. The conductor for orthodontic microimplant installation includes horizontal element with a tube at one end, which can be positioned over the microimplant installation spot. The conductor features metric bar; the horizontal element is a bar with a plug at one end, which can be rigidly positioned on the element, while the free end of the bar can be flexed in any direction against the other end and freely moved along the metric bar with further rigid fixation on it. All the described elements are made of disposable material.
EFFECT: high accuracy and custom-tailored installation of the microimplant and improved work environment for dentist.
