FIELD: electronics.

SUBSTANCE: suggested invention is attributed to the field of image acquisition for particles with high penetrability. Suggested two-dimensional detector of ionised particles contains array of detecting fibers, at that each detecting fiber creates detector image element and includes scintillator intended for scintillation light radiation. Each detecting fiber consists of glass capillary tube filled with liquid scintillator. Chemical composition of scintillator is chosen in such way that mean free path of primary scintillation photons is insignificant comparably to capillary tube diameter.

EFFECT: allows to improve image resolution without sophistication of production technology.
