FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: decontamination of equipment is performed by removing radioactive particles under a layer of water medium, supporting it at the level which ensures radioactive safety during work, by means of jet injector with vacuum deepness 40÷95%. The layer of water medium must be maintained at level 0.1÷0.3 m from processed surface.
EFFECT: increase of effectiveness of radioactive sediment removal from equipment surfaces and reduction of dose loads on personnel during decontamination works.
