FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is attributed to waveguide polariser which contains for instance a length of circular waveguide (1) with longitudinal flat wide conductor (2) placed in it, which conductor is fixed, for instance, on thin dielectric plate (3). At the ends of conductor (2) transformers are made in the form of narrowed sections. Conductor (2) length is chosen from condition of polariser interference matching node position on the first frequency located within operating band, and length of transformers (4) is chosen from condition of transformer matching node position on the second, differing from the first, frequency located within operating band. At that, ratio of transformer height (4) to conductor height (2) should be within limits of 0.42 to 0.72. Reflection factor of suggested polariser essentially lowers in operation band due to perfect matching of polariser on two different frequencies.
EFFECT: raise of polarisation isolation level; decrease of longitudinal dimension and reduction of losses.
