FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: waveguide SHF junction has sections of round and rectangular waveguide. Plate which planes are parallel to H plane of rectangular waveguide is installed uniaxially in section of round waveguide. Inductive element, for instance diaphragm or pin, is inserted at point of joining of sections of round and rectangular waveguides. For simplification of design inductive element should be inserted by means of misaligned joint of sections of round and rectangular waveguides. EFFECT: increased operational stability of waveguide junction. 7 dwg
