FIELD: heating, fuel.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of rocket engineering. The method of preparing of a batch of small-sized charges of solid rocket fuel to the gas-generator for the ejection devices of a rocket, which includes the mixture of propellant components fuel and compression molding of the batch of charges is proposed. Before compression molding of the batch of charges, they form with pressing and cut the raw stock lengthwise, which ensures the upper desired value of pressure impulse with the smallest possible rate of combustion. Then the combustion rate of the obtained raw stock in the working temperature range and pressure of the gas-generator is determined. On the obtained combustion rate the length of samples of charges are determined, with which the upper and lower values of the pressure impulse. If the obtained values of impulses satisfy the required, they conduct compression molding of charges and cut the batch of charges to the obtained length. But if the obtained values do not satisfy the required, then correction of the length of the charge is carried out till the achievement of values of the impulse at the upper and lower boundaries of the temperature range, which satisfy the set requirements.
EFFECT: increase in gas-generation of the charges of the rocket fuel, the guarantee of their work at high pressures and in a wide temperature range.
