FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to particular methods of creating jet thrust and can be used in designing jet engines for vehicle motion in dense air stratum and water medium. Known method of creating jet thrust incorporates interaction of electric and magnetic fields in space between two electrodes arranged on the vehicle body outer side, action of these fields on molecules and/or atoms of ambient medium that cause origination of resultant thrust. Proposed method includes the formation, in the space between electrodes, of an alternating electric field with its vector directed parallel to the said body outer surface and an alternating magnetic field interacting with the said alternating electric field, the vector of the former being perpendicular to the electric field vector. The fields are induced a super-high-frequency electric field generator connected with the said electrodes a super-high-frequency magnetic field generator connected to solenoid. Note that the generators are tuned to operate on the same frequency in the terahertz range with a 90-degree phase shift.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of the proposed method.
