FIELD: seismology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions proposed refers to marine seismic survey, in particular to the method for reducing multiple waves effect from the ground surface during seismic signals. The invention data are directed at creation of an improved method for deleting multiple reflection event from the surface from seismogram for seismic data processing. The forecasting method of multiple wave total from the water surface for the trace total in seismogram contains the following stages, i.e. detecting seismic data by means of a receiver; providing the total of puprose traces with a nominal shift and nominal azimuth; choice of the total of entry trace pairs in which the middle points of the entry traces in each pair are spaced apart for a half of the nominal shift the azimuth of the line connecting the middle points of the entry traces in each pair being equal to the nominal azimuth; collapse of the chosen entry trace pairs is carried out to generate the total of collapses; application of the three-dimensional operator to the collapses.

EFFECT: detecting seismic data by means of a receiver; providing the total of puprose traces with a nominal shift; forecasing multiple wave total in two dimensions from the water surface for the total of entry subsurface lines and application of the two-dimensional operator to the forecasting surface multiple waves in two dimensions.
