SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cocoa-containing powders including palatinoses, which are used for instant ready-made drinks production. Powder or granulated mixture includes 9-60 mass % (in conversion to total mass of cocoa-containing mixture), of at least, one cocoa component, one food supplement and 20-90 mass % (in conversion to total mass of cocoa-containing mixture) of palatinose. Tablet is made up out of cocoa-containing mixture by pressing powder or granulated cocoa-containing mixture. Drink is produced from cocoa-containing mixture and solvent. Palatinoses are used in powder or granulated cocoa-containing mixture, and in particular, in instant powder for cocoa drink to improve flow ability or metering ability of powder or granulated cocoa-containing mixture. Palatinoses are also used in powder or granulated cocoa-containing mixture to produce cocoa drink and to reduce hygroscopic properties of powder or granulated cocoa-containing mixture. Besides, palatinoses are used in powder or granulated cocoa-containing mixture to produce cocoa drink and improve solubility in milk or in water. Besides, it is established that non-clotted free-flowing instant powders may be produced if palatinoses are used in cocoa-containing mixtures. These powders can be used for production powder drinks or granulated mass ensured with high fitness for storage and insignificant water-absorbing ability.
