SUBSTANCE: invention relates to supplements intended for improving basic taste and to supplement-containing composition based on vegetable oil and fat. Supplement improving basic taste contains n-6 long-chain high eicosanoic acid and/or its compound ether. As an option, supplement may contain n-3 long-chain high eicosanoic acid and/or its compound ether. Method for vegetable oil and fat taste improvement provides for supplement blending to improve basic taste by vegetable oil and fat.
EFFECT: improvement of basic taste of products based on oil and fat and intensification of original taste when products are cooked.
