FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanisation of loading, transportation and unloading operations and can be used in coal industry mine working. The method of slinging loads in mine working using a monorail and rams with operating traverses includes load transportation by moving the pick-and-place device on along the monorail. The hydraulic rams fix two additional traverses suspended on chains in cantilever and arranged on the left and the right of the operating traverse, the load centre of gravity is defined. The ram is mounted so as to locate the operating traverse above the load centre of gravity in the vertical plane. The slings, laid into balancing blocks, are fixed on the additional traverse. The operating traverse is downed till the blocks on it and at the load slinging points get aligned. The slings are tensioned to fix their two other ends on the second additional traverse. On the ends of every additional traverse, a chain section is locked, its length depending on the mine working height. Now, the load is lifted and carried in along the mine working.

EFFECT: higher efficiency, load-carrying capacity, lower wear, higher safety.
