FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in processing of beryl ores and concentrates. Method of decomposition of beryl concentrate includes its mixing with ammonium fluoride and further heating of the obtained mixture to temperature of 320-400°C at normal atmospheric pressure. Silicon is separated by means of sublimation distillation of ammonium hexafluosilicate, hard sediment produced being dissolved in water. Obtained beryl-containing solution is filtered, purified from admixtures, ammonia water is added and pH is increased to value of 8.5, with obtaining solution of beryl fluoride.
EFFECT: reduction of the number of reagents used for decomposition of beryl concentrate.
