FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to car industry. The multi-disk friction brake incorporates a hydraulic cylinder, friction disks, a piston arranged in the cylinder to compress the said friction disks and a spring to return the cylinder back into initial position. The hydraulic cylinder is made up of the first annular part, second annular part and end face part connecting the first said parts. The pimple on the cylinder is arranged close to the smaller-diameter annular part. The friction disks are engaged with the drum outer splined cylindrical surface. The drum incorporates a blind annular safety space, through holding holes arranged in the drum aligned with its axis of rotation, an inner splined part engaged with the shaft splined part, the said drum inner splined part being arranged on over the drum inner cylindrical surface. The shaft outer cylindrical surface splines include the first and second radial grooves receiving the first and second lock rings so that the drum is located between the said lock rings and locked fast on the shaft. One of the lock ring horizontal stepwise sections envelopes radially the second lock ring, while one of its vertical stepwise sections is in contact with the drum vertical surface. The unbending pawls pass through the holding holes out to the drum other surfaces to get in contact with the drum vertical surface to make the safety ring gets rigidly linked to the drum.
EFFECT: reliable linkage between the drum and shaft, elimination of lock rings opening in gearbox operation and smaller overall sizes.
