FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mechanical engineering, particularly to friction clutches. The friction clutch consists of a drum, of friction disks, of a rod to compress friction disks, of a disk spring returning the rod into an initial position and of a stop ring. The friction disks are arranged inside a drum and are designed to rotate around each other and around lengthwise axis of the clutch. The stop ring is installed in a circular slot of the drum between a push-down disk and the rod and serves as a bearing for the disk spring. Also radial slots are made in the rod; leafs of the disk spring are located in these slots.
EFFECT: reduced dimensions and weight of multi-plate friction clutch.
