FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed multiple-disk friction clutch, designed mainly for gearboxes of vehicles, contains external drum coupled with hub, friction disk arranged inside drum for rotation relative to each other around longitudinal axle of clutch, piston to compress friction disks, and spring to return piston in initial position. Spring is placed between piston and shield disk, and outer edge of shield disk is coupled with inner surface of piston through sealing ring. Splines are made on outer surface of piston which prevent rotation of piston relative to external drum. Through axial stepped hole is made in hub. Splines are made on surface of smaller diameter of said hole, and channels are made on surfaces of larger diameter to feed oil into space between external drum and piston, and channels to feed oil to space between piston and shell disk. Longitudinal grooves are made on outer surface of hub to drain oil from space between shield disk and piston. Slot in form of ring channel is made on outer surface of hub to intersect longitudinal grooves. Lockring is fitted in said slot. Inner edge of slot in form of ring channel is located at greater distance from longitudinal axle of clutch than inner edge of longitudinal groove. External drum is made stepped, its smaller diameter surface being smooth, and piston being fitted in inner space. Larger diameter surface is made in form of alternating cavities and projections of equal size which are used as splines for friction disk and piston and which are provided with oil drain holes. External drum is provided with ring channel for lockring and ring channel for thrust ring to limit displacement of friction disks along longitudinal axle. Internal drum is arranged inside external drum coaxially with external drum, being made over outer diameter in form of alternating cavities and projections of equal diameters which are used as splines for friction disk and in which holes are made to feed oil into friction pack between friction disk. Holes are made on surface of internal at angle to its outer surface to feed oil to holes in outer surface of internal drum. Outer part of smaller diameter of external drum can be rigidly coupled with rim of speed sensor.
EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of clutch owing to provision of guaranteed idling at no preset operating pressure.
