FIELD: transport engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed multiple-disk friction clutch has drum coupled with hub, two and more friction disks installed inside drum for rotation relative to each other around longitudinal axis of clutch, piston to compress friction disks, and spring returning piston into initial position. Drum is rigidly coupled with nub in which lockring is installed being support for disk spring arranged from side of friction disks and resting on piston. Channels are made in hub to supply oil into space between drum and piston and to remove oil. Drum is provided with ring channel for mounting lockring limiting travel of friction disk along longitudinal axis, and pressure disk is installed between piston and friction disk in which longitudinal holes are made equidistant over circumference and from longitudinal axis of rotation of clutch. Drum is provided with steps arranged on end face surface of drum and on inner surface of which splines are made for friction disks. Steps of drum are made for fitting into holes of pressure disk. Moreover, drum is installed on disk-like shielding screen of step design on inner surface of larger diameter of which ring slot is made to receiver thrust ring resting on pressure disk to limit travel of shielding screen relative to longitudinal axis of clutch. Space is formed between stepped disk and outer surface of drum to pressure-feed at no oil pressure in space drum and piston.

EFFECT: improved operating characteristics of clutch owing to guaranteed non-engagement of clutch at no operating pressure, reduced overall dimensions.
