FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods for identification and authentication of three-dimensional identifier (1), (9), (10), (11), fixed to object. Technical result is achieved due to the fact that identifier is represented by irregularities accidentally distributed in transparent material and making the latter complex or unyielding for reproduction. Stereoscopy of human eye vision is used for inspection of three-dimensional image authenticity, which guarantees authenticity of the said identifier, Identification or reading is made by visual comparison (B) of bidimensional image (2) of identifier with identifier itself with application of human sensor capabilities, specifically, stereoscopy of vision (A) and tactile sensation (A'), which allow feeling peculiarity of identifier, which makes the latter complex or unyielding for reproduction.
EFFECT: exclusion of interpreting and expensive reading devices.
