FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to pharmaceutical and food industry and may be used for conservation of perishable natural pharmaceutical and food raw stock. Method of sand dollar conservation consists in the following: raw stock is poured with ethyl alcohol with addition of ascorbic acid aqueous solution with the following ratio of raw stock: ethyl alcohol: ascorbic acid 1:(1-1.2):(0.3-0.5) and is stored at the temperature from -10 to +25°C away from direct sunlight.
EFFECT: increase of product shelf life with insignificant loss of echinochrome A content.
