FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: elastic material, containing air-permeable panel of foamed material with closed pores is described. Elastic panel has deeper sections or canals, at least on one side, and through apertures, apertures being located in canals. Canals can cross in order to form paths for flow passing for transport of heat and sweat, or can not cross in order to set path for directed flow, or canals bound many projections, for instance, round projections or rectangular projections. Elastic panel is preferably formed by compressing sheet of foamed material with closed pores between pair of oppositely placed heated plates, one of planes contains many needles, the other plate has apertures, made with possibility of needle placement. One or both plates have projections for formation of deeper sections or canals. Elastic panel has elements, which improve panel air-permeability, for instance, for facilitating heat and moisture separation in orthopedic bandage.
EFFECT: improvement of air-permeability of elastic material for compression bandages.
