FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: microstrip load incorporates a dielectric substrate, a strip conductor and cladded base. The strip conductor represents absorbing films connected in series by metal jumpers, the films width being equal to the input microstrip transmission line strip conductor width. The absorbing film surface resistance increases from the microstrip load input to its open or short-circuited output.
EFFECT: lower standing-wave factory and higher mean SHF power.
