FIELD: radio electronics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio electronics and microwave technology and can be used in powerful radio transmitting devices as an antenna equivalent with an additional control output for connecting measuring instruments. The microstrip load contains a semiconductor doped substrate, on one side of which there is a metallized base, on the other side there is a resistive strip. The resistive strips of the microstrip load are made in the form of an absorbing resistive film, the beginning of which is connected to the input connector, and the end is connected to the output connector, while the width of the resistive microstrip is equal to the width of the lossless line strip with a characteristic impedance equal to the input impedance of the microstrip load.
EFFECT: technical result in the proposed microstrip load is to ensure high quality matching and low unevenness of the frequency response both in the low and high frequency ranges due to the fact that the surface resistance of the resistive strip is unambiguously connected by functional dependence with the concentration of the dopant in the semiconductor substrate.
