FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to production of hot rolled tape suitable for enamel coating on both sides, particularly out of steel IF of non-shrink porosity. To upgrade suitability of a hot rolled tape out of steel IF of thickness up to 10 mm to enamel coating or its resistance to forming a "fish scale" the tape is produced out of steel, containing wt %: C max 0.010, Si max 0.030, Mn max 0.80, P max 0.020, S min 0.030, Al 0.020-0.060, Cu≤3×[P], Nb (0.6-1.0)×(93/12)×[C], B (0.5-1.5)×(11/14)×[N], Ti min 48/14×([N]-14/18×[B]+48/32×[S]+48/12×([C]-12/93×[Nb]) max 0.15, the rest: iron with unavoidable impurities, conditioned by melting. The method includes continuous casting of steel into slabs, cutting of the slab into a measured length, heating of the slab, rolling of the heated slab for production of a tape or a sheet, winding and successive cooling in the open air; at that heating of the slab is performed to the temperature of >1050°C; rolling in a hot condition is carried out till producing a tape or a sheet at the final temperature of rolling above the temperature of Ar3 of transformation, and winding is carried out at the temperature above 630°C.
EFFECT: producing hot rolled tape out of steel IF with upgraded suitability to enamel coating.
