SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method of vehicle pneumatic tires diagnostics at test bench. Method consists in fixation of wheel angular deviations sequence at collision with hard obstacle and determination of energy scattering coefficient in lateral direction according to the following formula where ϕTO - initial angle of deviation, ϕTn - angle of deviation after n-th collision, n - number of deviations, which makes it possible to obtain tire characteristics that are necessary for determination of vehicle stability and controllability parameters.

EFFECT: obtainment of tire characteristics that are necessary for determination of vehicle stability and controllability parameters.
