FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing a pre-stressed concrete structure for the ship hull consists in creating stress in armoring by laying it in the form, filling the said form with melted polymer-concrete, heating the armoring to the melting point of the said polymer-concrete, the armoring being arranged on the supports. The armoring cooled down, its clamps are removed to result in pre-stressed structure for the ship hull. The said polymer-concrete can represent a mix of 20% by weight of sulfur and 80% by weight of inert filler, e.g. crushed dolomite rock.
EFFECT: reduced labour intensity in ship building, lower thermal strains and crack formation in ship operation.
